May 29, 2018 - Yes, it is true, unfortunately. According to a new article from BBC Future, women are more likely to wait longer for a health diagnosis and to be told it’s ‘all in their heads.

We see this almost every time when a new female client comes to us at GreyZone. That can be lethal: diagnostic errors cause 40,000-80,000 deaths in the US alone.

We need to be doing much better on this collectively in the healthcare field. We sure try to do our part to improve diagnosis at the doctor’s office or in the hospital. See our services to learn more about our unique approach to tackle this problem.
